State security bodies in the partisan movement on the territory of the BSSR

In monographs for the first time in domestic historiography on the basis of large factual material and existing publications, the activities of state security bodies on the organization and development of partisan movement in the occupied territory of Belarus in 1941-194 were comprehensively and systematically investigated. The previously not published archival documents were introduced into scientific circulation, which allowed to reveal various areas of activity of employees of state security bodies and their role in turning the partisan movement into serious power, which became one of the factors of victory in the Great Patriotic War. This publication considers the contribution of state security bodies to the increase in the combat effectiveness of partisan formations, measures to expand the scale of the partisan movement and increase its effectiveness, the main directions of the special services in the enemy’s rear, forms and methods of work, and the features of intelligence, counterintelligence, sabotage and other operations. The book can be useful to specialists in the history of the Great Patriotic War, as well as to everyone who is interested in military history
