Stalingrad epic. Documents declassified by the FSB of the Russian Federation. Memories of Field Marshal Paulus

The collection dedicated to the Battle of Stalingrad publishes materials from two operational-chores units of the NKVD of the USSR: the management of special departments and military counterintelligence and censorship. Recently declassified documents recreate a reliable picture of the state of two confrontant forces - the Red Army and Wehrmacht. In dynamics, the mood of not only military personnel, but also various groups of the population, their expectations and behavior in extreme conditions of wartime are traced. The published materials allow us to convincingly refute the statements of German generals who tried to rethink the significance of the epoch -making battle on the Volga in their memoirs.
