The monograph is devoted to the study of the role of special events in the creation and management of sociocultural processes. Events in the conditions of the development of digitalization and the information society serve as the main tool and an element of generation and representation of the picture of the world. The role of events develops dynamically in all scientific disciplines, including natural, humanitarian and accurate sciences. Cognition, comprehension of reality involves taking into account and constructing data, descriptions, dependencies, narratives in which specific events play a key role. The monograph provides the results of many years of research on the role of special events in the management of sociocultural processes and the construction of reality. Moreover, the main attention is paid to special events in the sociocultural sphere in the management aspect. This approach allows us not to be limited to examinations, but to lead it in the context of the possibilities of constructive transformation of reality.
Paris P. - Breton legends about King Arthur, Knights of the Round Table and the search for the Holy Grail and the French knightly novels created on their basis are almost not familiar to the Russian reader, although they are much older and more diverse than our English version of Arturian. The transfer was made according to the publication of the famous medievist of the 19th century, the keeper of the manuscript department of the French National Library Prof. P. Paris: "Romanes of the round table, shifted into the modern language by Poles Paris and accompanied by research of the origin and features of these great works." The book includes four works, clearly showing how the genre of a secular novel gradually grows from the biblical apocrymph. This is the prosaic arrangement of Robert de Boron’s novel, Joseph Arimathesky "(end of the 12th century), an even earlier legend" Founding the Grail Book ", the novel" Holy Grail "(one of the first examples of the European “Faced Tale”) and already quite a classic knightly novel "King Arthur". The publication is intended for a wide range of readers interested in the history of literature, religion and European culture
