Socialism after October. Living and dead water

Socialist Russia - utopia or real opportunity? - This is the main question and the main problem of the book. As if “utopia” is as if. After all, it seems that what the people who committed the October Revolution did not happen about what the October Revolution did not come true. And yet, as the author seeks to prove, democratic socialism for Russia is a real historical possibility, with the embodiment of which the economic and political deadlines of modern development will be overcome and the social system of social equality, humanism and people who have been built. Democratic -socialist worldview developed and improved, absorbing into itself. The experience of the activities and struggle of previous generations of socialists, adjusting their theory in accordance with the changes taking place in the modern world, outlining new ways and opportunities for socialism. The author traces the logic of the development of this theory, starting with the Leninist ideas of the October era, and then the ideas of the first years of post -October development. Further in the book we are talking about how the ideas of “democratic socialism” continue, developing, taking into account the new experience of the country"s development and the world, democratic socialists of the 1930s, “sixties” (1960-1970s), democratic socialists of the perestroika period and the following , modern, generation of democratic socialism. The author does not give a categorical answer to the “main question” posed by him. He would like - on the basis of the materials he presented, the reader himself gave such an answer
