Social-political dialogue in Russia 1917-1918. Trends, mechanisms, regional features

The study proposed to the reader on the materials of the Central Black Earth Region, the Nizhny Volga region, the Don region, the North Caucasus, gleaned from twenty -eight central and regional archives, proves that the inhabitants of the Russian Empire were in no hurry to start a civil war. Negotiations, concessions, compromises were the most important component of not only the "honeymoon of the revolution", but also the entire socio-political process of the studied regions, both after February and after October 1917, the population of Russia resisted the civil war until the summer of 1918, Having managed to stop its initial impulses of the late 1917 - early 1918.
