Based on a new understanding of social history, which includes the whole spectrum of society - from economic relations to various forms of everyday life, the book presents a picture of the internal socio -political, material and intellectual dynamics of England over the XIV and ending the XVII century. Based on numerous sources of different English cities, the author explores the ratio of industry and trade in the economic development of the country, workshop and extracurricular crafts, folding the wage labor market in urbanization centers, the decomposition of craft guilds and the emergence of new forms of production. In line with local and new social history, the problems of urban self -government, deviant behavior, internal and international social and political conflicts, the cultural and intellectual life of England on the verge of the new time and much more are considered.
