This book is dedicated to one of the most famous noble families in Russia, among the representatives of which were glorious military leaders, generous philanthropists, and patrons of arts. Serving people and the Fatherland was based on the Sheremetevs on a deep faith in God. They built and contained temples, opened charitable institutions, and helped the poor. Count N.P. Sheremetev went down in the history of domestic culture and as the creator of one of the best theaters in Moscow. The art collections collected by the Sheremetevs replenished many museums of the country, and the palace and park ensembles Kuskovo and Ostankino became architectural monuments
