These wars are still largely secret: about the participation of our soldiers and officers in local wars and armed conflicts abroad for a long time was unfairly silent. All the more valuable are the materials that are published in the book - more recently, they stood the UGROOD OF TOMENITURE. Attracting documents from many state and departmental archives, the authors help readers understand why Soviet people fought and died in a foreign land. It was strictly forbidden to take pictures there, but many military personnel tried to bypass the prohibitions to capture themselves "as a keepsake".
