The study considers the complex of Anglo-Shottland relations in the first half of the 15th century, tied to both the high policy of London and Edinburgh, and on regional trends formed by the Lords of the Anglo-Shottland border and the nobility of the Scottish Lawland and Hayland. A special place in the work is given to the participation of Scotland in the Anglo-French confrontation in the framework of a centenary war and the formation of a Scottish political model under the kings of James I and James II. The course and motives of the events described were reconstructed on the basis of a wide range of published narrative and documentary sources of Scotland, England and France.
