The monograph is devoted to the clarification of the specifics of those socio-historical and cultural factors that determine the format of the study of the property world (nature, space, universe) in society of the political type, which is primarily understood as the civilization of the ancient and medieval East. A person who has chosen for himself as a life priority in natural sciences is in a political society under fairly tough social pressure both from social institutions (mainly state and clergy), and from the alien scientific interests of the vast majority of the population. However, in some periods and under favorable circumstances, the academic community is here quite capable of self -organization and initiative, capable of giving a successful response to external social challenges. Evidence of this success is numerous epistemological innovations and discoveries, which is replete with the history of political scientism, but which, as a rule, do not receive further development and are unclaimed due to an adverse change in the socio-political conjuncture. The socio-historical and cultural analysis of the science of political society helps to more accurately outline the universal trajectory of cognition by mankind of the world around them, as well as to look in the New Light on social and moral problems that scientists face in subsequent eras, up to the present day.
