The St. Petersburg provincial noble assembly, based on the desire to continue the cultural traditions of the Russian nobility and points of its Charter, and the Russian State Historical Archive, recognizing the scientific value and practical necessity of genealogical reference books, decided to continue working on the St. Petersburg Bedomous Book, which includes in the St. Petersburg Broadcast All six parts from the moment of its establishment in 1786 to the present, and preparation for the publication. Unlike the noble deputy meetings of a number of other provinces, which have published their genealogy books in the pre-revolutionary period, the St. Petersburg Nobility Book is published for the first time.
