The book tells of a good, but still little-studied contribution, which has been introduced into the defeat of the Nazi troops near Moscow during the sink operations of irregular sabotage formations of the capital"s garrison of internal troops.
In the fall of 1941, at least two divisions of the People’s militia were born from the fighter battalions of the UNKVD in Moscow and the Moscow Region, which, in turn, became the form of the Red Army in January 1942. Then, from the capital"s fighters, the militia sabotage military unit in the history of Soviet operational intelligence was created - a fighter motorized rifle regiment of the UNKVD in Moscow and the Moscow Region. The authors of the book found that from November 15 to December 30, 1941, 70 operational groups with a total of 2185 bayonets were thrown into the enemy rear. Six groups did not return from them after the task.
