Correct, previously not published memoirs of D.N. Lyubimova (1864–1942) - a statesman who found himself in the center of political events during the first Russian revolution, cover the period from 1902 to 1906. During these years, Lyubimov was the “right hand” of all ministers of the internal affairs: V.K. Pleve, p. Svyatopolk-Mirsky, A.G. Bulygina, P.N. Durnovo. Being an attentive observer, noticing many characteristic features of the era and its heroes, the author describes in detail how key decisions were made, which one or another affected the fate of the country. There are many domestic details in the memoirs, indicative details from the life of Russian bureaucracy at the beginning of the 20th century. In some cases, the information is unique, no longer repeated.
