The book is dedicated to the history of Russian necropolis in Bulgaria and contains information more than 1100 representatives of Russian emigration in various cemeteries of the country. It is a logical continuation of the previous work of the authors about the Russian necropolis in Sofia, published in 2011
This publication is a kind of book of memory of Russian people who have not been in their own free will in Bulgaria. The authors, the third generation of Russian emigration, continue their research in order for the names of the departed Russian people to remain in the memory of now living and their descendants.
Among the buried in Bulgaria are veterans of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878, Russian emigrants, as well as their descendants and relatives.
The alphabetical list of Russian burials in Bulgaria contains biographical information: the dates and places of birth and death, education, the passage of military or civil service, participation in the work of Russian organizations in Bulgaria, information about the closest relatives, burial places and other personal information.
The publication is illustrated by unique photos from personal archives.
The book is designed to contribute to the preservation of Russian names, the return of the memory of them the Russian and Bulgarian public and is intended for everyone who is interested in the history of Russia and Russian emigration
