For the period 1223–1502 The sources recorded more than 152 armed clashes of the Russian and Horde forces, the Russian principalities were subjected to the Horde invasions more than 100 times. The task of the reference book is to compile, if possible, a complete list of clashes of Russia with the Mongols, the Golden Horde and its uluses mainly according to Russian written sources. The native chronological line is due to the date of the first clash with the Mongols in 1223 on the river. Kalka. The upper date (1502) is the time of the defeat of the successor of Juchiev Ulus-the Great Horde by the Crimean Khan Mengli-Girey. The guide includes events on the territory of the principalities, which later included in the Russian state. Clapses with the Russian lands of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the ruin of Yelets by the Central Asian ruler Timur (1395) are not considered. The table is devoted to the clash. The military actions of one campaign are combined in one table, the campaigns of various years of one war are divided. Information about conflicts, preserved only in the late (beginning of the 16th century) sources, is highlighted especially. The number of troops was given by direct instructions of the sources, or by the title of the Horde in Russian sources, allowing us to evaluate the order of their number
