Russian history. XX - beginning of the XXI centuries. Lecture course. Tutorial

The proposed lecture course was created by leading employees of the Department of History of MSTU named after N.E. Bauman based on many years of teaching experience. By virtue of this, he takes into account the specifics of the general educational request for the history of Russia of technical university students.
In this course, on the basis of a problematic way, the main periods of the history of Russia are highlighted: from the era of the formation of the Old Russian state to the reign of the last king from the Romanovsky clan - Nicholas II.
Based on the analysis and generalization of scientific data, the authors strive to give the most objective, but at the same time multifaceted image of both historical characters and the driving forces and laws of development of Russian society for a whole millennium: from the Union of East Slavic tribes to a multinational Russian people united by the Russian Empire.
