The textbook was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary General Education and the Concept of the New Educational Complex in Russian History and fully takes into account the objective content of the historical and cultural standard and the approximate basic educational program of secondary general education. It is aimed at developing the cognitive interests of students and the development of their own position when evaluating key historical problems.
This book covers the period of Russian history from the end of the XVII to the beginning of the XX century. The methodological apparatus is focused on the active educational and cognitive activity of high school students and is aimed at the formation of universal educational actions.
The textbook contains an extensive factual and theoretical material, supplemented by developing tasks for its analysis and processing. It also presents color cards, schemes, illustrations, tables, historical sources that ensure the development of subject and meta -subject skills in working with various forms of historical information. The issues and tasks of the textbook are differentiated by the level of complexity (basic and in -depth levels of study of history), which allows the teacher to profile and individualization of the learning process. The format of many tasks is focused on the systemic training of students for intermediate and state final certification
