In the eighth issue of the Almanac, significant complexes of sources on the history and genealogy of the Russian “service” estate were published. Among them are petitions and other documents on admission to residents dating back to the 1640s. and including information about more than 650 persons, as well as another selection of murals filed at the end of the XVII century. In the House of Foreign Affairs (76 paintings compiled by representatives of 69 princely and noble clans) In turn, reference materials include the first part of the work of the landowners of the Voronezh province at the end of the 18th century, covering seven counties, and in addition, extracts from the metric book of one of the churches of Tula, containing information about representatives of local industrial names in the late XVIII - early XIX BB. An article about the children of Prince Vladimir Andreyevich Staritsky is also placed in the Almanac, in the application to which two tsarist letters of 1585 and 1613 are included, received by his daughter - Queen Livonian Maria, and published analytical material about the genealogical research of academician V.L. Yanina
