The monograph is devoted to the problems of the development and formation of urbogeosystems of river valleys. A new scientific direction is justified at the junction of urban planning, geography and geoecologists - the concept of natural -adapted urbogeosystems. Based on the materials of the research of fifty cities of the Central Black Earth Region, the main ecological and functional types of urbogeosystems are highlighted, data on the study of the regional cities of the region on physico-geographical and biogeography lines of contrast. An ecological and landscape typology of rod urboosystems is proposed. The main directions of optimization of territorial planning and land use of urbogeosystems of river valleys as polysonal complexes are determined.
