The guide includes relevant information about specially protected natural territories (protected areas) of the Far East of Russia. The publication provides detailed information about climatic and geographical features, on the flora and fauna of protected areas. Particular attention in the book is paid to tourist routes. From the pages of the book, the reader can get acquainted with a detailed description of the available environmental paths, excursions and opportunities for organizing individual expeditions. The publication indicates the seasonality of the routes, describes the key infrastructure and give contact information. The book is illustrated by copyright photographs made by well-known photographers of wildlife and researchers of the Far Eastern Public Property protected areas, equipped with detailed circuits of protected areas indicating key routes and basic attractions. It is intended for everyone who is interested in the nature of the Far East or plans a trip to one of the Far Eastern regions. The authors of the book have collected all the information about extreme, ethnographic, environmental and health tourism in the territory of specially protected natural territories of the Far East of Russia. Practical information necessary for travelers is interspersed with cognitive information about the indigenous peoples of the region and their traditional cuisine, holidays and key events, entertainment, climate features, flora and fauna.
