The second part of the book V.P. Kozlova continues the study of one of the peasant clans and settlements of the Tula region. Here, the panorama of their fate is given against the backdrop of the implementation of the land decree, the transition to new economic policy in the village, collectivization, life during the Great Patriotic War, in the post -war period and during the years of numerous attempts by N.S. Khrushchev transform the Soviet village, as well as attempts by the Brezhnev leadership of the country to transfer agriculture to the rails of new forms of production. On the basis of a wide range of sources, objective and subjective factors of the creation and collapse of the collective farm and state farming in the village and the destruction of its traditional foundations, as well as the fate of representatives of a particular peasant family under the influence of reforms carried out in Soviet times, are shown.
