The monograph presents the results of a study on the analysis of the role of regional organizations in the foreign policy of Vietnam through the prism of the concept of middle -level powers. The work considers the main theoretical approaches to the definition of middle -level powers, the main stages of the formation of this concept are distinguished, the role of regional associations in the foreign policy of the countries of this category is analyzed. The main emphasis is on the consideration of the interaction of Vietnam with three leading regional associations - ASEAN, APEC and SMOA+. Particular attention is paid to the foreign policy strategy of Vietnam, its key principles, the history of formation and transformation.
