The reference book provides information about the organizational and staff structure of the Red Army of the period 1934-1945. Each section discusses the organization, purpose and composition: a) the central departments of the military department, b) the district, front -line, army of the Office, c) the military of the troops and services of the Armed Forces. Particular attention was paid to the development of the organizational and staff structure during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. And in the final period of World War II until September 1945, the book is a logical continuation of the directory "Red Army 1918-1934: Structure and Organization" published in 2019
