The book of Alexander Blok "The Last Days of Imperial Power" was written on the documents and materials collected during work in the Extraordinary Investigative Commission of the Provisional Government, and is a picture of the tragedy of the Russian Empire, carefully documented and at the same time created by the poet.
This publication is supplemented by texts of diaries and notebooks A.A. The block related to the period of work in the ChSC, and the documents prepared by it for the intended report of the commission. A number of materials are first printed without bills, by manuscripts. The application publishes articles on the work of AA. Blok in the ChSC, studying the historical sources of the book "Last days of imperial power" and the circumstances of its creation, as well as detailed comments.
The book is illustrated by rare archival photos. It is published on the 400th anniversary of the Romanov house.
