“The social system of the Mongols. Mongolian nomadic feudalism ”is the result of many years of scientific research by academician B. Ya. Vladimir (1884–1931), who saw the light after his departure. The use by the author of numerous Mongolian primary sources, which he knew not only as a brilliant chronicler, but also as a linguist and ethnographer, makes his last work truly fundamental. This book is the first (after 1934) separate reprint and continues the series of “Civilizations of the steppes”, which includes the best examples of the Russian School of Oriental Studies.
