The book is dedicated to Priozersk - the ancient city in the Leningrad region, located on the Karelian Isthmus. The publication is first presented in such a significant amount of the set of information on the history of the city and its environs from ancient times to the present day. The book provides numerous archival documents, excerpts from monographs, memoirs, articles and surveys, including employees of the State Far Emergency Museum "Korela".
