The publication first publishes a monograph by I.A. Kiryanova and N.V. Zolotukhina Fully in 1918. The book completed in 1968 was never published in Soviet times due to the show of complex and ambiguous events of the Civil War in the Potluga - at the junction of the Kostroma and Nizhny Novgorod province. Unusuality is given to the book by the fact that its author is Igor Alexandrovich Kiryanov (1918-2007), an honorary citizen of Nizhny Novgorod, a historian, before the discovery of this text, known exclusively as a researcher of the Nizhny Novgorod past XV-XVIII centuries.
In the second part, research by the compilers of the book V.I. Andryukhina and A.A. Kuznetsova, dedicated to the place and significance of the anti -Soviet Vetluzhsky uprising in 1918 in the history of the Civil War, biography and scientific heritage I.A. Kiryanova. Documents on the tragic and great events in the attached in 1918-1921 are also presented, collected throughout the 1950s-2010s. I.A. Kiryanov, V.I. Andryukhin, A.A. Kuznetsov. The published historical sources reflect the views of participants in events from the Soviet and anti -Soviet side.
The book is published in marking the 100th anniversary of the Urensky armed uprising and its suppression and the centuries of the anniversary I.A. Kiryanova
