Polybius is the greatest, along with Herodotus and Fukidid, a Greek historian. He fell under the wheel of fate and participated in the events of that fateful period when, according to him, more than in the entire previous story was committed. The kingdoms rose and fell, the peoples rushed about, the city died, and, finally, the world unification under the unified power of Rome occurred. All this was perceived by polybia as an exciting performance. The first part of the tragedy Polybius observed as a spectator. The second was one of the actors.
