Once, people will learn to live on the titanium, the largest satellite of Saturn. With these words, the book “Outside the Earth”, written by the planetologist Amanda Hendrix and scientific journalist Charles Walfort, begins. Not on Mars, as it was considered for many years, namely on the titanium, with its dense atmosphere, sparing climate and inexhaustible reserves of fuel and water, it is possible to create an autonomous colony. By arguing his point of view, the scientist and journalist show not only the inevitability and tempting prospects for the development of planets and satellites of the solar system, but also the pain points of the state and commercial development of the cosmos, political, bureaucratic and scientific problems that impede the conquest of other worlds. Nevertheless, this is a real re -ladder, and not a fantastic script, the authors are convinced and infect the reader with their faith
