This work refers to the field of two sciences at once: political economy and ethnology (social and cultural anthropology), to scientific discipline, which is engaged in the study of socio-economic relations of primitive society. In the West, where it arose, it is commonly called economic anthropology.
The author of this work for the first time in the history of economic and ethnological thought created a holistic theory of one of the pre-capitalist economies --- the economy of primitive society. The creation of the theory allowed the author to find a solution to a phenomenon known as a prestigious economy. The book contains not only the presentation of the theory. It is the most complete of all existing reports of actual data on the economy of primitiveness in science. The discovery of the initial, initial form of socio-economic relations gave the author the opportunity to recreate the process of formation of the economy. This is again done in science for the first time. Before that, no one was engaged in economy genera.
The study of the primitive economy itself cannot be considered to be brought to the end without access to the economy of the transitional economy from the actual primitive to the class (civilized) --- pre-class society. The pre -class economy is a necessary link between the primitive and early class economy itself.
In the conclusion of the work, the transition from the pre -class society to the class is considered. From the pre-class society, not only the first historical form of the class society arose --- ancient Eastern, political. It gave rise to the second form of the class society --- Antique slave-owning, and its third form ---- Society of feudal. Therefore, there is no and cannot be one single scheme of the formation of a society based on private property, society with classes and the state. There are three main historical options for the formation of private property, public classes and the state. And the key to understanding the essence of these processes gives a theoretical study of the economy of primitive and pre -class society
