The Belarusian strategic offensive operation Bagration is one of the most famous operations of the Soviet troops during the years of World War II. At the same time, only two details were known about the Bobruisk offensive operation, which fell into the film epic "Liberation" - how K.K. Rokossovsky proved by I.V. Stalin about the need to deliver two main blows, and the fact that the offensive took place in a hard-to-reach wooded-breeding area.

Documents of the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, German archival documents, data of local local history museums were used as sources. The data obtained during interviewing 50 eyewitnesses of events were also widely used: both veterans and local residents. "
