The monograph is devoted to the study of the history of the regions of Southern Rus" of the XIII - the first half of the XV century. The study highlights the issues of administrative-political, economic, economic and ethnocultural integration of the South Russian lands into the state system of the Mongol Empire and Ulus Juchi (Golden Horde) Based on the analysis of a wide range of written and archaeological sources, the author comes to the conclusion about the formation of the so -called “contact zones” in a number of regions of the South Russian forest -back, which existed throughout the Golden Horde era. The publication is addressed to specialists involved in the study of the history of medieval Rus" and the Golden Horde, as well as teachers, students, graduate students and all the history of Russian-Horde relations
