Vladimir Alexandrovich Kostitsyn (1883-1963) - a person of a unique biography. The Bolshevik in 1904-1914, the head of the university combat squad, almost shot on Presnya after the December uprising of 1905, he served in the "Crosses of a year and a half. On the day of the German invasion, he was arrested in the USSR and sat for nine months in the Compiegen camp, and after liberation he joined the resistance movement.
