Previously, amazing creatures lived on Earth - for example, a ten -meter shark with huge teeth, a majestic wool mammoth, a saber -toothed tiger and even a unicorn!
On the pages of the book you will meet animals that cannot be found in our world today. Huge predatory fish, giants-dinosaurs, unusual insects and huge reptiles-all these creatures inhabited the planet in prehistoric times, now only the collections of fossils are reminded of them. The memory of extinct animals is very important - studying them, you can not only find out many incredible facts about the animal world, but also trace how life has developed on Earth long before the appearance of man. Passing through the museum’s halls, you will also meet the Eliyskaya Food, the rhino, Pangolin and other rare animals that live at the same time with us, but are on the verge of extinction and need people"s help.
Lotta Stegman - writer and journalist, author of the book Our neighbors on the planet. Stories about wild animals. She visited the museums of natural history in different countries of the world, studied a huge number of fossils and consulted with famous paleontologists.
The illustrations were made by the artist Marike Nice, who recreated the appearance of the animals with the accuracy of the smallest detail. Together, the author and the illustrator managed to create a wonderful Museum book.
We invite you to take a walk along his spacious halls!
