The first part of this collection has a description of the structure of Moscow University, a list of its units is given: faculties, institutions, centers, branches, museums, social facilities and services. It will be useful to a modern reader, especially youth, turn to recent university history - the election of the rector of Moscow State University in 1992.
The second part of the collection is dedicated to the rector of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, academician Viktor Antonovich Sadovnich, for 28 years permanently standing at the head of the leading university of the country. In the third part, the heads of Moscow State University divisions are named.
The fourth of "from the annals of Moscow University" introduces the reader to the pages of his post -war history, when new buildings of Moscow State University on the Lenin Mountains were built and commissioned. The list of names included in this section is inseparable from personal memories and life experience of the compiler of the collection, as one of the many graduates of the Moscow State University. It tells about the famous Moscow mathematical school and the outstanding mathematicians of Moscow University - the glory and pride of Russian science. Representatives of this school were university teachers of the student V.A. Sadovnichny, and then his colleagues in collaboration at Moscow State University.
The application contains information about all the leaders of Moscow University since its establishment in 1755.
