Book on Moscow quarantines of the XVI-XVII centuries. Written by a professor at the Department of History, the chief researcher of the Center for Historical Studies of the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg A. A. Selin. The work analyzes how the fight against the spread of infection (primarily the plague) took place in the Novgorod and Pskov lands in the era of the Moscow kingdom, in the 16th-XVII centuries.
