Moscow kingdom. The processes of colonization of the XV - XVII centuries

In the fate of Russia of the second half of the XV -XVII centuries, the Earth and the sky, high and low, the drawing of a scientist clerk, which exactly transmitting rivers lines, lakes, forests in recently explored lands and the life of the holy monk, first settled there, have been mixed in equal proportions. Looking at the map, it is easy to make sure that back in the middle of the 15th century, Moscow Russia was a small, poor, rarely populated country. But by the beginning of the 16th century, a great power grew out of it, and at the turn of the XVI and XVII centuries, it turned into a state guide. It was the geographical environment of the indigenous “European” Russia that contributed to the fact that in the XVI -XVII centuries the Russian North, Ural and Siberia were extremely quickly colonized. But the point is not only in geography. The system of the Moscow kingdom is put on the stone of faith, permeated by Orthodoxy in all directions.
