The magazine continues the publication of articles devoted to the fundamental problems of mediastics: in this issue, attention is paid to the history of the medieval economy and the methods of studying it. This topic is continued by the block of articles affecting the connection of the economy with politics and the right. The release publishes a translation of John Barbort’s poem about the Scottish king Robert Bruce, with comments and an extensive introductory article revealing the subtle relationships of poetry, history and politics. A number of articles are devoted to the specifics and various faces of the early new time, including the evolution of trade and craft corporations and the history of diplomacy.
