The edited collection compiled two works addressed to a wide circle of studying Chinese and regional studies of China.
The first part presents the textbook of the outstanding Russian Chinese O. M. Gotlib “China. Linguistic and Studies ”, consisting of eight relevant topics:“ Geographical position of China ”,“ Biological resources of China ”,“ Administrative-territorial division of China ”,“ Nations and languages of China ”,“ State structure of China ”,“ Flag, Coat of arms and hymn of PRC ” , The capital of China - Beijing and Chinese hieroglyphs. The texts of the manual are accompanied by the necessary glossary and a block of exercises aimed at consolidating and improving knowledge, skills in various aspects of linguistic activity.
The second part of the collection includes a new textbook of associate professors of the Department of Chinese Faculty of Foreign Languages to IFIMs ISU S.V. Stefanovskaya and I.V. Sharavyova “China and Chinese realities”. This manual can be considered as additional material to the basic course of O. M. Gotlib, as well as act as an independent educational material. The main eight topics of the manual correspond to the sections of the basic course, but they have a different lexical and grammatical content. In addition, another topic has been added - “Culture, science and technique of China”. Each topic is revealed by several texts of different levels of complexity, equipped with the necessary glossary and a block of exercises.
The publication is intended for senior students and undergraduates students in the relevant educational programs. Vacation texts can also serve as reference material for all those interested in geography, history, culture, writing and other areas of life of China
