The training manual is devoted to the main problems of legal examination of Russian legislation. From the perspective of the general theory of state and law, the theory and methodology of legal examination of regulatory legal acts and their projects have been analyzed. Its concept was first developed. The concept of legal examination, its content, principles, functions, types, subjects, which allowed to determine its role and significance in the system of law enforcement practice are disclosed. Particular attention was paid to anti -corruption examination as one of the types of legal examination and a means of counteracting corruption. Methodological recommendations have been formulated to increase the effectiveness of expert activities.
