In conditions of developed socialism, science is a serious social force. Therefore, it itself becomes an object of special study. The task of comprehending the content and movement of one’s own knowledge faces legal science.
In the book proposed by the reader, the subject of consideration is not the law itself, but the form and structure of knowledge about it, expressed by the theory of law. The purpose and content of the book is the justification and concretization of the hypothesis of the logical structure of the theory of law, which is determined by the system of its basic concepts - legal categories.
In the book, a significant place is given to the analysis of methodological premises of the study of legal categories, the main of these premises is the Marxist-Leninist dialectical logic.
