Latvia. History of the First Republic: monograph

In 2018, Latvia celebrated the centenary of her statehood. On November 20, 1918, a new independent state appeared on the map of Europe - the classical parliamentary republic, which was the result of large -scale historical events, primarily the First World War and the October Revolution. The book traces the historical path of Latvians to build its own statehood, which began with the formation of national identity and its growth, which occurred in the middle of the 19th century, including under the influence of advanced figures of Russian culture.
