The book is dedicated to the little -known and almost forgotten pages of the heroic history of our homeland, the personal contribution of Russian patriots - emperors, leaders of the Soviet state, officials, officers and ordinary citizens in the creation of the greatest empire. As well as the soldiers of the valiant Red Army and the Red Fleet, whose labors and exploits Russia regained Sakhalin and Kurili.
The difficult situation of the struggle for Russian lands and waters in the Far East, the animal grin of Japanese militarism of the last two centuries and the machinations of their associates within our state in the past and currently at the present time are shown. The historical and legal indisputability of the belonging of all the Kuril Islands from Kamchatka to Hokkaido to the Russian state, their great geopolitical and economic significance for the present and future of Russia, is substantiated.
