There are 51 objects of history and culture of federal significance in Klin, 32 cults of religious significance, 46 monuments and historical buildings, 6 museums, reserves and exhibition halls, 20 hunting facilities, fishing facilities, 24 park municipal recreation areas. Outstanding scientists, musicians, writers, artists lived and worked in Klin. Among them A. Popov, S. Taneyev, K. Timiryazev, A. Vasnetsov. On August 7, 1887, the great Russian scientist D.I. Mendeleev. The agronomist of the Klinsky district was served by M.M. Prishvin. The famous Soviet sculptor V.I. lived in the village of Borisovo. Mukhina. And from 1953 to 1955, the amazing writer V.T. lived in the Klinsky district Shalamov. The natives of the city of Klin were the famous actor People"s Artist of the USSR M.I. Prukin and People"s Artist of the RSFSR E.P. Leonov, Cosmonaut Hero of the Soviet Union Yu.P. Artyukhin
