Stepan Bandera, one of the main ideologists and theorists of Ukrainian nationalism, since 1940 was the head of the organization of Ukrainian nationalists (OUN), which fought for the creation of independent Ukraine. This struggle became especially fierce in the post -war years, when the OUN threatened the unity of Ukraine and Russia as part of the USSR. It is not surprising that the Soviet intelligence services made a real hunt for Bandera, and in the end he was killed by the KGB agent Bogdan Stashinsky.
The book of A. North, an authoritative historian of special services, shows all the circumstances of the liquidation of Bandera, for which the author uses unique materials from the KGB archives. But the book is not only about this - it gives a wide picture of the Bandera movement in Ukraine: its causes, character, methods of action
