The first edition of the monograph (2012) received many responses by the scientific community and practicing lawyers. Since its release, significant changes in the structure of the domestic judicial system have occurred, a long -term discussion has ended on the isolation of administrative proceedings, an appropriate codified act has been adopted. This determined the need to update and additions to doctrinal ideas about justice, primarily Russian, about its modern characteristics and areas of further improvement. The work is aimed at the methodological support of state activities in the field of organization and exercise of the judiciary, deepening knowledge of how the ideas about law and justice change. Various models of justice, international standards and practices have been investigated, an analysis of the formation and development of the domestic model of justice was presented, including in a comparative legal aspect. Particular attention in the book is given to the solution of such an urgent task of legal science as the search for the optimal mechanism for the interaction of national state courts with international jurisdictional bodies and national courts of other states. For lawyers - scientists and practitioners, employees of law enforcement agencies, deputies, business circles, teachers, students, graduate students of law universities and faculties, as well as for a wide range of readers interested in ensuring fair settlement of conflicts and preventing social disagreements.
