Joseph Flavius (37 - 100) - a Jewish historian and military leader, a writer who received the title of Roman citizen.
The Book of the Jewish War, consisting of seven volumes, was written in 75 in the ancient Greek language.
The first two volumes are the history of the Jewish people, starting with the events in Judea during the war of the Antiochus of Epiphanes and the subsequent uprising of the Maccabans and, until the defeat of 66, the rebellious Jews of the Roman Syrian ruler.
