"Jerusalem History" Fulcharias is the main source that tells of the first crusade. The author of this essay, the French priest Fulheria, was part of the retinue of one of the leaders of the crusaders - Baldwin Bulo, brother Gottfried Boulonian. From the first days, Fulheria ended up in the very center of events: together with Baldwin, he participated in the expedition to Edessa, became a witness to the founding of the County of Essa, the first of the crusaders. When Baldwin became the head of the newly educated Jerusalem Kingdom, Fulheria, his confessor, ended up at the very heights of power, becoming a participant and witness of the events that followed the first crusad. A penetrating and subtle thinker, Fulcharius describes in detail the history of the formation of the crusading states on the Holy Land until the 20s of the XII century. In the "Jerusalem History," the author managed to portray the feelings of Western Europeans in colors, who first had a live world, who had previously known for the stories of pilgrims
