The monograph is devoted to the reception of the doctrine of the Society of the Arab historian Ibn Khaldun (1332–406) in Ottoman historiographic thought. The work explores the representations of prominent representatives of this school of Muslim historical science about society and the state and their concepts of historical development of society, based on a number of the main provisions of the teachings of Ibn Khaldun.
