Most of the life of A.S. Dzasokhov was associated with foreign policy activities, or rather, with its eastern direction. He was engaged in the East as a practical politician and as a researcher. Working in an international direction for more than fifty years, he met, participated in conversations with the first presidents, the Prime Ministers and many other world-famous leaders of national liberation movements. In 1986, he was appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to the Syrian Republic. In 1988 he returned to work in Ossetia. In 1998, he was elected president of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania. In this book, the author tried to convey a lot of what he personally experienced, thought out in several decades and what he wanted to share with a wide circle of readers, with a new generation of politicians
